thank you!

i just wanted to pop in really quick and post a huge thank you!! i have to have the sweetest and most sincere blog readers ever! i have been having a rough few weeks, as i mentioned here. that was me, just journaling and venting, it's how I cope. but you guys, rock! i received comments, e-mails, FB messages and even a card (from my super sweet sister-in-law!) with your guys' support, stories, and encouragement.

that is amazing! i have the greatest friends and family ever. thanks guys!!

we...okay, okay... I am doing better. peanut is still nursing, but not near as often. normally he nurses/has a bottle around 6am, 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 8pm, and then around 1am. typically he will nurse for the entire 1am feeding (yay!!) and for the entire 5pm feeding (yay!!) but the others I have to supplement with formula. sometimes, i will offer to nurse first but typically he's just wants his bottle. he knows mama can't help him out, lol. the little chubber will take 6oz of formula too!

emotionally i'm doing a little better and physically i am doing MUCH better. my pain is a million times more manageable. so i know that in the long run, it's worth it.

  2. Just fyi, in case you don't know how to raise a child or anything, but the FIRST thing (no joke) that we were really told in our first pediatric lecture was about how people mistakenly think "a fat baby is a happy baby." NOT TRUE.

Overfeeding is one of the largest (no pun intended) problems with children and leads to juvenile diabetes!

    Come on!

  3. Thanks Dr. Matt ;) And I did know that. My chubber is actually not that chubby. He was only in the 10th percentile for weight at his 9 month appt! He just looks chubby cause he's short too!
